Refund Policy: We are a very small business and we rely on tuition payments in order to teach our program. We can't buy materials or pay our bills without it! We cannot issue refunds for tuition payments unless you suffer a serious personal or family emergency that renders you incapable of attending.
Payment Plans: Payment plans are available as three payments of 370$ with a 75$ administration fee. Managing payments plans is actually a lot of work! The first payment is due upon registration, the second and third will be determined depending on registration date, and the final payment is due by May 1st, 2020. Work Trade: We feel passionate that all people who desire should have access to Plantcraft. We have TWO full work trade positions available for 2020. This means you trade us your help for our teaching. 144 hours of work trade, or 6 hours a week, will grant you tuition for our program. The tasks you will help us with will involve gardening, processing plants and sometimes repetitive or strenuous tasks outdoors. We require a deposit of 150$ which will be returned upon the successful completion of your work trade hours to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner. Gardening experience or gardening enthusiasm is a plus! Please fill out the application at the bottom of the page to apply. The deadline to apply is Feb 1, 2020.
Who Should Apply for Work trade: We invite you to please ask yourself a few questions before hand:
1. Do I really need work trade?
This can be difficult to ask oneself, and only you know the answer to this one, but we would like this position available for minority or other groups of systematically disadvantaged peoples first, and if you simply can't afford it, then that completely qualifies you as well. We do not check or "make sure" that this is true. We trust you.
2. Do you have time to realistically fulfill your work trade agreements?
3. Do you need a payment plan instead?
See our payment plan details above. If you've reviewed this and are ready to apply please fill out the form below. And remember, it never hurts to ask for what you want and we will never judge you for it.
We offer one scholarship to a person who otherwise could not attend our course due to lack of funds or access. This is intended for a person of color, indigenous person, a single parent, or a person with disabilities or other circumstances which may make work trade not possible or reasonable.
